How Depop fees work
Since July 2024 US sellers pay no Depop selling fee. The fee that remains is payment processing through Depop Payments, charged on the item, shipping and any tax.
Boosts are where Depop costs climb. A boosted sale adds 12%, which can triple your fees on that item. Check whether boosted sales are selling faster before boosting everything.
Worked example
Take a $40 item with $5 shipping paid, a $9 item cost and a $5 label. Depop charges $1.94 in fees (4.3% of the $45.00 the buyer paid you), leaving a payout of $43.06. After $14.00 of costs you keep $29.06. To make $5 more on the same item, you would need to sell it for $45.17.
