How Vinted fees work
Vinted's model puts its fee on the buyer as a buyer protection charge, so you keep the full listed price. Your only costs are the ones you choose: free shipping offers and paid bumps.
Because buyers see a higher checkout total, Vinted items often need to be priced a little lower than on fee-charging apps. Compare your net on Poshmark or Mercari at the higher price before assuming Vinted wins.
Worked example
Take a $25 sale with a $5 item cost. Vinted charges $0.00 in fees (0.0% of the $25.00 the buyer paid you), leaving a payout of $25.00. After $5.00 of costs you keep $20.00. To make $5 more on the same item, you would need to sell it for $30.00.
